Kami-Con is back for it's 4th year & it's better than ever!

The jacket was handmade by me using Kona cotton and pvc vinyl, while the skirt is kona cotton with a back zipper. This outfit can easily be worn to be ANY Code Geass female character. Hello everyone! I am selling a few of my costumes, including Mana (Malice Mizer), Seiran (Mikazuchi Den), Hanabishi (from Harem de Hitori) and Freya (Chobits). Some of these could be used for multiple costumes/ characters/ events (for example, the Hanabishi costume is a pink kimono complete with obi/belt).

Hi, fellow Lab Rats. It's been quiet on all fronts for awhile now, and we apologize for our lack of hustle & bustle. It always cheers us to see your enthusiasm, though.
We just got some bad news from one of our West Coast correspondents. Our friend Jenny, who does some convention reporting for the Lab, recently ran her own product booth at an event in San Francisco where business was brisk. However, someone decided to help themselves to her money box and took all the earnings from the table. If you're going to SakuraCon in Seattle, WA, this weekend, please visit the Sugar Clay Cafe booth there. Come Audition for LA Cosplay Contest to Benefit the Arts -
Saturday, February 19th at 2pm in North Hollywood, CA
Seeking Anime and Comic Character Acts to Perform
at LA Cosplay on March 6th
North Hollywood, CA - Calling all anime and comic character enthusiasts! Come audition for LA Cosplay Contest to Benefit the Arts on Saturday, February 19th at 2pm at the Secret Rose Theater, located at 11246 Magnolia Blvd, in North Hollywood. Chosen acts will perform on Sunday, March 6th at El Portal Theater in Hollywood for guest judges that include Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants), Rob Paulsen (Animanics, Pinky and the Brain, TMNT), Jess Harnell (Animanics, Drawn Together), Candi Milo (Dexter's Laboratory, Fosters) and Charlie Schlatter and Matt Jones (Disney's Kick Buttowski). This family-friendly event will have both adult and youth competition categories (Under age 16 and over age 16). Prizes will be awarded for best costumes, best acts and more! An $8 donation gives you free entrance to the event on March 6th, and benefits the non-profit Firerose Productions' programs, which support the arts in the local community. So, get your act together, put on your costume and come out and play!
At LA Cosplay on March 6th, favorite COMIC, ACTION and ANIME characters will come to life at the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood. Artists who voice some of the most popular characters on TV and the internet will entertain and "meet and greet" their fans. Those attending will also enjoy live music and comedy, hosted by Master of Ceremonies, Charlie Schlatter. Proceeds will benefit Fire Rose Productions' performances and performing arts programs for artists of varied ages and cultures.

Kami-Con: Season 3
is only 2 weeks away!!! Who's going??
Kami-Con is a FREE, very unique, and quickly growing anime convention in Tuscaloosa, Alabama February 19-20th. We had about 400 attendees our 1st year, over 1200 attendees our 2nd year, and we're hoping to have even more people this year!
Not only is it a great anime convention, it's also a continuous storyline that lets the con goers decide (or battle over) Kami-Con's future.
Last year was a fight between Light & Dark. Kami-Con's mascots Shio (lover of all things cute & bubbly) and Kosho (Shio's little sister & future ruler of the world) had a terrible fight over who would be the con's mascot. The con goers chose sides and an epic battle of Light vs. Dark began. In the end the dark side won so this year, during Kami-Con: Season 3, it's Kosho's turn to run the convention. But OH NO! Someone's trying to censor Kosho's dark theme! Come to Kami-Con and compete in games & tournaments to help Kosho defend her convention from something even darker than herself!!
